Sizing guide

The Pinarello Gan derives directly from the Dogma F8 and as such follows a standard road geometry. Therefore it is comparable with most other Pinarello models. The Gan is available 10 size increments allowing you to get the very perfect fit and position.

For those with shorter arms and/or a shorter torso the Gan is also available in 4 Easy Fit sizes.

How to measure your height How to measure your height

A first sizing estimate can be done from your overall height. This measurement is best taken stood with you back against a wall and without wearing any shoes. Use an object with a square edge such as a thick book to hold against the wall and the top of your head. Then get someone else to measure from the floor to the book.

The sizing chart below can then be used to estimate your required frame size.

How to measure your saddle height How to measure your saddle height

Saddle height can also be used alongside height to give a better estimate of frame size. Saddle height can either be measured from your existing bike setup or approximately calculated from your inside leg measurement. Please note, your inside leg measurement is not your trouser measurement.

If using your existing bike setup you can measure your saddle height from the centre of the bottom bracket to the top of the saddle, in-line with the seat post.

If measuring your inside leg measurement stand with your back against the wall having removed your shoes, hold a thick book up into your crotch with a similar pressure to a bike saddle, slide forward keeping the book square with the wall and get someone to measure from the floor to the top of the book. An esitmated saddle height is then 88.3% of your inside leg measurement.

Saddle height = Inside Leg Measurement x 0.883

Using your overall height and/or saddle height the sizing chart will help you determine the correct frame size.

The chart acts as a guide only. Some riders may differ from this or may choose to tweak the frame size up or down to suit their specific use or position.

If you are unsure please don’t hesitate to get in contact as our experienced staff can offer sizing advice via telephone and email as well as in store.

If you know what measurements you require or already have a bike that you’re comfortable with you can use the geometry chart to compare frame measurements. Effective top tube measurement (L) is the most important as this defines how long your reach will be on the bike. Head tube length (T) then determines the handlebar height and how aggressive or upright your position will be.

Women's Road Bike Sizing Women's Road Bike Sizing

Pinarello manufacture such a large number of frame sizes for each of their models that most women find they don’t need a women's specific bike to get the perfect riding position. The smallest frame sizes; 42cm, 44cm and 46.5cm, have a slightly sloping top tube making them more suited to women and junior riders. Small changes such as a women’s specific saddle, shorter stem and brake reach adjustment all help achieve the perfect position for a female cyclist.

For those with shorter arms and/or a shorter torso please see our range of Easy Fit bikes.

UK - Bikes

We currently offer FREE standard UK delivery on all bike orders. Please allow 1-2 working days for bikes to be fully assembled and setup before being dispatched with our FedEx Next Day service. Delivery is then next day to the majority of the UK. Some remote locations may take a little longer and a signature will be required. If you would prefer delivery on a certain day please let us know.

Bikes shipped within the UK normally arrive in one large box. The front wheel and seat post will need installing and the handlebars turning straight and tightening. This process is very simple and requires just a couple of Allen keys but should you have any doubts the team will be on hand to offer advice and guidance. Once the bike is complete its good practise to run through your own safety checks with particular attention to the brakes and gears.
